Nearly every culture throughout history has attributed magic properties to wood. Some hold one type of wood to be sacred, while others believe that all wood has magic properties.

Use the qualities and associations of the wood to decide the wood for a magick wand! Of course, you can guess which one I chose.

Blessed Be,
Willow

Merry Meet, Beginners!

This is a great journey you have embarked upon. It will require a lot of discipline and study. Anything worth doing does. Hope I haven't lost anyone yet.

I suggest you get a good book to guide you on your journey. Anything by Silver Ravenwolf is good. Her most comprehensive is "The Ultimate Book of Shadows for the New Generation Solitary Witch." Other great books are anything by Scott Cunningham, expecially the book, "Wicca, A Guide for the Solitary Practioner." It is awesome!
