Any and all issues that come up in the day to day life in recovery will be discussed. You do not have to be sober to join but please be considering recovery. Any topic is welcome and no one will judge you or tell you your thoughts and opinions are wrong. Addiction is lonely and recovery is a time for change and starting a new life and discovery. Please stop by and introduce yourself or read others posts and take what you can away from the group to improve your life or to help yourself. All ways of recovery are welcome not just 12 step meetings and 12 step philosophies. If you are staying clean outside of 12 step meetings please share it with everyone. People on MMT or similar treatments welcome. Dually Diagnosed people too.

Status: MemberDescription: ...Is To Be Served As Little As Possible And To Serve Others As Much As Possible -Tolstoy This DG is dedicated to Tolstoy's words. Expect the unexpected. If your heart hurts for what you have lost, let it rejoice for what you have found. Be gentle with yourself and others for this creates an inner landscape of life lived in love, contentment and joy. The energy of all will be appreciated and validated. Questions and feedback in this DG will be posed respectfully. This is the only guideline. With gentleness, respect and love, we will address a multitude of subjects while guarding those of us who, for whatever reason might seem in a fog. May today be the day we realize where our real securities lie. Let today's blessings be acknowledged as the new ones begin.

Name:Status: MemberDescription: Positive thinking is important. The Bible encourages us to think positively in the light of all that God has done for us, and in the light of His promises to us. This group is for Christians to encourage each other by sharing positive Scripture references, tesimonies and mutual advice.

Name:Status: MemberDescription: Being single in the church can be an extremely difficult life. For the most part, most churches focus heavily on the family element. If "singles" ministries do exist, they are usually simply "match-maker" programs to find a spouse. Yet, Jesus and Paul both uphold the single lifestyle as being not only good, but in many ways, remaining single for the sake of the Gospel is a preferable lifestyle. This group is designed for single people to meet, network, discuss their struggles, share ideas and insights on singles ministries, discuss the bible, and whatever else you can think of that pertains to being single in the church. Whatever your reason for being single, you are welcome and accepted here as a Christian "singleton!"

Name:Category: Support GroupStatus: MemberDescription: This group serves as an extension of the popular "Beyond Blue" blog (http://www.beliefnet.com/beyondblue/) and will provide an opportunity for readers to get to know each other better. My hope is that, like my blog, it will become a supportive network for those suffering from depression or any other mental illness.
