Baal Shem-Tov was a father of the hasidism. He re-vitalized and re-jew-vinated Judaism in the time of hardship and oppression of the jewish people.

 

He was known for his love of every human being. He taught that even a simple, unlearned person can come close to God, if it is done in sincerety and humbleness.
