Most of the "facts" here are not facts. The truth is, you are a minority in America. Most Americans (over 80%) believe in their interpretation of God. This being a democracy, I'd say you are outnumbered; therefore, deal with it. Ignore the "Under God" on your money. Don't say the pledge. You have that right in our country. You are NOT persecuted in this country for believing, however, in the halls of higher ed, a Christian has to hide his beliefs if he hopes to further himself, particularly in the field of medicine. PS just because "In God we trust was added later, doesn't mean its any less relevant.
