"Of all the meaningless, insipid, pandering bits of pop philosophy ever perpetrated upon the public, this bit of tripe from the little"
Of course there is trying... but to succeed at anything, you must try "until". The moment you stop trying, all progress is halted.
There is nothing wrong with failure. In fact very little success ever comes without lots of failure.
When you say "I'm trying", it is usually while you are taking a break from "doing". Hail Yoda, for "trying" to raise us higher!

Of all the meaningless, insipid, pandering bits of pop philosophy ever perpetrated upon the public, this bit of tripe from the little green frog-thing Yoda is probably the most egregious, dishonest, and arrogant of them all.
Well, here's what I have to say: there is such a thing as honest failure in this world. The arrogance of the winners who claim that you either "do" or "not do" and that "try" is a meaningless concept, is the kind of thing that has made our society a mass of grabbing, stampeding, greedy, egotistical cows.
There is "try", okay? People "try" all the time. Sometimes they fail, but they tried. And to minimize that honest effort, to degrade it with this pop fluff, this meaningless froth masquerading as "wisdom" is, frankly, sickening to me.
I'd like to see Yoda skewered, barbecued, and served with a nice Cabernet. And wipe my mouth with a napkin embossed with "I tried; and sometimes, that had to be good enough".
