I would have to say this film is edited as well. If you watch closely, the penguin on the side appears to be tripping the poor guy that falls through the ice! LOL

I'm pretty sure this video is edited. I don't think their legs bend that way. That being said, it is comforting knowing that sometimes even penguins can't tell when the ice is too thin.
