HI THERESE I HAVE SEEN BOTH OF YOUR VIDEO"SAND YOU SOUND JUST GREAT.I HAVE SEEN SOME ONE FOR ABOUT 15 YEARS.AND I FOUND OUT AT LAST THAT I HAVE MY OWN WORLD AND LET WHO I WANT AT ANY TIME,BUT I CAN SAY NO ALSO AT ANY TIME AND FEEL GREAT DOING ITI AM WELL AND HAPPY NOW,BECAUSE I DON'T LET ANY ONE MAKE UNHAPPY,GOD BLESS YOU,PEASE AND LOVE BOB.
Three great resul, good luck! What I really like is your background. Where do you live? I live near Yosemite National Park, Im about 3800' in Ahwahnee, Calif. and it hasn't snowed here yet but were expecting 1-2' in the next few days, Im excited! God bless you and yours! bumble
Therese, I just love your name. It is my Patron Saint's name and my mother gave me my middle name after St. Therese of the Little Flower. Yiou asked that we list our New Year's Resolution. Well, I don't make tohem. I feel that if I don't keep them I am a failure and that doesn't help my depression. I have lost so many in my life that I ask the Good Lord to accept my prayers, sufferings and offerings up so that those who are entering heaven do not have long to wait. As I step out of bed in the morning, I ask our Father in Heaven to accept all my prayers, sufferings, and every thing that I do be offered up for them so that their wait into heaven is not long. I told my husband tonight that I hate the word that begins with the big "C". I have lost many close friends to that word and just recently lost another one. Why can't the medical people on this earth find a cure so people don't have to suffer hours and days from it and cure them right away. Cancer is one of the worst illnesses that could be here on earth and more and more people are getting it ona ddaily basis. I ask that those who have been suffering from "C" be cured and relieved from it without days and days and years and years for suffering. Please pray with me that those that have it, and are going to get it are relieved from it and get better and walk the earth with much energy and love. Thank you for listening to me. I love this as I am just getting on here and enjoy reading and seeing everything that I can. May God Bless each and every one of you and may your days be Merry.
Happy New Year!!!
I hear that we should only make 3 resolutions.
My new years resolutions are..1)Pay off all debts on my Credit Report 2) Buy some things I wanted for years 3)Get a new vehicle....
I celebrate that I accomplished last years resolutions....relocated, paid off car...yea!!!
My car title was hanging on my christmas tree this year ;-)
I pray that God looks favorably on me and showers me with new friendships at work and other places in my life.
Happy New Year!
In 1999, I made a resolution to read a different Bible translation each year:
1999 NIV
2000 NASB
2001 ASV of 1901
2002 NLT
2003 RSV
2004 Modern Language Bible aka New Berkeley Version
2005 Knox Version
2006 ESV
2007 Jerusalem Bible, Reader's Edition
2008 HCSB
Happy New Year, T! You already know that I love this video. I read your blog today and as usual, enjoyed your humor on breaking #1. So hopefully #2 is going well for you today. (That did not sound right at all!!!) - Fortunately, you know what I mean! As far as #3 goes, you were and are already on your way. You've been doing it, and I believe you will continue to improve upon it - not as though that is needed. So, hats off and and whoopee to 2008 - One Day At A Time.
Love and peace to you and your beautiful family,
Nancy L.
Ijust love all your videos. I find them very helpful. My New Year's resolutions are to eat more healthy foods, get more sleep, and be kinder. Happy New Year!
Thank you for your moving video. You strike me as a very genuine person. And you inspired me to finally set up a profile here (I love beliefnet) and to post about my New Year's resolutions. Mine are pretty simple: to start exercising twice a week, to take the time to grocery shop at least once or twice a week (I eat out or order in a lot), and to spend more time on meal preparation. The goal of these resolutions is to improve my health and hopefully lose some weight.
Thank you for sharing your resolutions/goals. I normally don't make new year's resolutions. But this year I want to work on being healthier. To eat healthier, to exercise and to destress. Anything that will make me healthier. In 2007 I took a vacation from that and I feel it now. It makes me feel older than what I should feel like. So I plan on taking better care of myself. Not dieting but just to feel healthier.
Thank you for your words. My resolution(s) I am actually starting today. 1. Follow my weight loss plan faithfully, to be recommitted to it so I can lose what I've gained back. 2. Start doing things that I've bever done before, like taking a new class at my gym
You are fantastic and very courageous. Thank you for sharing intimacy and I feel confindent that you will achieve your 2008 goals.
Love and Best Wishes,
Nancey Stillwell
Oh, Therese! What wonders will come from you following those New Year's Resolutions! You have more people in your corner than you think you do. You are everything a good Boy Scout could be: brave, reverent, honest, and REAL. Don't let Nancy "get your goat!"
I am BOTH a chocoholic AND a workaholic. I ended my "fad" of eating 7 Dark Chocolates and 2 chocolate chip cookies EVERY NIGHT for 7 months, about 5 months ago - it was getting out of hand!
And, I work on my computer from 7PM until Midnight most nights; sometimes, I even pull an all-nighter to catch up on my work! I wish there was some way I could delete ALL the Spam that comes across my machine - but, alas, that hasn't been invented yet!
May you have a blessed, healthy, prosperous and HAPPY NEW YEAR, and don't feel badly if you CAN'T keep those darned New Year's Resolutions!
Your friend,
SuzanneWA
Therese:
How could you have such good complexion if you eat so much chocolate? ;-)
I think Nancy's advice is good. Because if you are real, you will be attractive, to us and to all ...
PS -- How is it that you've had more snow in Annapolis than we've had in New Jersey?
Thank you for sharing your resolutions. After viewing them I'm just wondering if your last - being real - isn't the key to achieving all intentions. Perhaps staying in integrity and embodying what is real is always going to lead one to the path that will lead to the kinds of decisions that will support us and those around us best. I support you in prayer and thought as you move from intention to action. Happy New Year!
Wow, that resounded with me. BTW, try Endangered Species chocolate bars - they are wonderful and help the environment/habitats. I teach and I have to have a square (or 2 or 3 on bad days) during my planning period. That is one good thing - I can't snack in front of 28 11 year olds. And I am always working as a friend of mine told me today - I'll do report cards over break. Of course it's hard to choose being real over appearance in today's world. All of these could have been resolutions of mine. Thank you for articulating them.
