I learned about BeliefNet through the Belief-o-matic and decided to join mostly to see what it's all about and to meet others who are curious about and interested in faith and spiritual issues. My own faith background is in moderate/tolerant Protestant Christianity, and I'm pretty relaxed with others of different beliefs, as it's my basic belief that most of us are looking for pretty much the same thing, but taking different paths to it. The only folks I have a hard time getting along with are hard-core prosthletizers who won't take a polite no for an answer. As for me, I don't pretend to have all the answers, and have accepted (at last) I'm never going to know it all, but that doesn't mean I should stop asking questions!  

Faith aside, I love to write, take photographs, sing, travel, cook, and make people laugh. I have a reasonably new husband whom I intend to get years of wear out of . Unti July, we had a charming, but greedy, Affenpinscher terrier. Unfortunately, a coyote killed him one night. I cried for two days, and dream about him still, and miss him terribly.
