Hi All,

Today I received a spam email with a Yahoo address.

Yet my Security Setting is for: Friends Only.

I did double check my settings and reported the email.

I am very concerned about security.

This never happened before the switch.

For three days I did not open my email and  only went on this site;

the Spam emails continued.

The staff  replied  it couldn't be happening from the B'Net site.

? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?

For the first time I am questioning

the security of this site.

I too got these emails and the users are now deleted. You can verify this by clicking on there names.

My concern is 'they' are NOT on my Friends Only lists

and were able to email me here at B'Net

REgarding the SPAM I am now receiving at my Home Email since the switch ~

B'net Staff sent an email saying:

"it wasn't caused by this site."

? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?

I am not convinced.

For the first time in 2 years I am  concerned

about the Security of this site.

 

I AM comforted that this Group is here and listening.

No Dah. I usually only post on BEING OURSELF and in the COMMUNITY JOURNALS. 

I know that some times it "feels" like email sent to staff is simply going into a black hole,

 I have never felt that way. And still don't.

The Community Team has always been very responsive.

 

It may be something that they are either unaware of

and / or working on fixing.

and  haver never received one Spam email

to my home email before the switch.

Now I receive several a day.
