Mi-Shell works as a Shaman / healer in Muskoka, Ontario, Canada.
She is a Registered Nurse and a Jungian Therapist by training.
But first and foremost she is following in the footsteps of
her Grandmother, the healer-shaman of her tribe, the Uryanchai in Siberia.
Mi-Shell has practiced, taught and used shamanism
and shamanic healing pathways
with her patients, clients, in schools and the health care system.
As an educator she teaches in schools and adult education facilities as well as during public events like Pow Wows, multicultural festivals and healing retreats.
She leads circles and gatherings that focus on
cross-cultural understanding, healing, ritual, drums and drumming ,
human growth and well-being.
As a healer she works with groups, families and individual clients and consults in the health care system.

On a regular basis Mi-Shell visits schools and adult education facilities
- to teach and bring to life essential aspects of Native American culture and spirituality
- to bring a first hand / "hands on" experience of Native culture into the classroom
- To compare and discuss cultural differences
and thereby
- to foster cross-cultural understanding
Mi-Shell also gives traditional teachings at Pow Wows and Native gatherings.
