Hi, I'm Camille (Hebrew name Tzipporah), a Jewish convert, and I hope to meet other Jews on Beliefnet. I also over the years hope to grow a richer love and knowledge of the Torah. I'm moved by the words of Rabbi Nachman (of Breslov 1772-1811): "Seek the good in everyone, and reveal it, bring it forth." I think his words speek to my desire as an individual; I'm always trying to find the good in this world or rather the righteous of this world.

Psalms 17:8 "Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of Your wings." G-d, righteous and powerful, wants all to live with humility, to give our hearts and minds to G-d. Truely the righteous (child, man or woman)is G-d's joy. No matter your faith! How G-d delights when we do the right thing: helping our neighbors, being involved in charities (like the Red Cross), speeking out against injustice, sowing the seeds of peace and studing the Bible. May H' love and protection cloak you ( H'- another Hebrew name for G-d Jews are forbidden to spell out. Just like Jews omit o from G-d. There are many Hebrew names for G-d, of course, in reference to one G-d) servents of the Lord.

Thanks for the nice comment on my profile. There is good and bad in all religions. I wish other people would understand this and not judge a religion of over 1.5 billion on the actions of a few bad apples. Man has hated each other and killed one another since the beginning of mankind. People are ignorant. :(
