    I can't seem to get back into my good habits. To top it off, my daughter is coming again this weekend and bringing her boyfriend along. And . . . the following weekend they are coming again, as it is our family reunion and pot luck. My husband did buy some fruits and stuff, which were nice, for our card night with my folks. He even surprised me with some flowers he picked by the roadside. I love my daughter and her boyfriend but I am still not back in the habit of doing things the way I was before she came and now this. I have gained back about 12 lbs. now, but some of that could be menstrual related or because it was evening with clothes on when I weighed but still, I have gained back at least ten. I have not been walking or working out either. I am finding it too hot and too many mosquitoes and people throw rocks on you when they drive by and I just don't have the time. I can't keep up with everything as it is, yet, when I read my napolean hill thought for the day it seemed to speak directly to me on this subject. It said, " IF YOU HAVEN’T THE WILLPOWER TO KEEP YOUR PHYSICAL BODY IN REPAIR, YOU ALSO LACK THE POWER OF WILL TO MAINTAIN A POSITIVE MENTAL ATTITUDE IN OTHER IMPORTANT CIRCUMSTANCES THAT CONTROL YOUR LIFE.

I know what I need to do, I just don't seem to have the mindset anymore. I lost it. I need to get my groove back.

    7 lb. Setback :(

    Cry My daughter has gone back to school. The three weeks she spent here has cost me dearly. I am not saying it was her fault, but I did tell her I was doing certain things and did not want her disrupting my routine and she was highly uncooperative. We were fighting the first week and it was awful. I finally gave in and reverted to my old ways of cooking and eating. Now I can't get back into the habit of considering a yogurt a meal. I made a huge pot of goulash yesterday and had two helpings. I need to get back on track. I have a good friend who sent me some hypnosis CD's and another who set me up in a health business including weight loss patches that have a plastic ball in the middle to apply pressure to the pressure point like acupuncture without the needles. I'm wearing the first patch today. Each day it goes on a new pressure point. So far no reaction to the adhesive, which I'm highly allergic to. So, instead of working toward my 270 picture, I am now working on getting back to the 280 mark. Setbacks happen, it's how you deal with them that counts. If I piss and moan and keep eating, then it will break me, but if I just start back up again as best I can, maybe not to the point where yogurt is a meal yet, but start out slow like before and decrease daily, I think I can get back on track again. Support from my friends is all I need. I thank Yawheh for my Beliefnet friends! I love you all.Kiss
