Let me try this again - intrigued and hopeful - I am "in between relationships" - having divorced in 1996! I have stayed busy with kids, my classroom, graduate school, then grandkids, more graduate school...looking around lately and realizing that I have to get back in the game. I, too, enjoy the company of puppies - I brought 2 into my home at Christmas this year, to help with stress.
Hey Doglover, I read your blog and I was thinking, hey that's my story. I have tried many approaches to making myself available and out there, but nothing has worked for me either. Other people really don't understand how we long to share our lives with someone special. They don't understand that the lonliness hurts sometimes. We have friends but it's just not the same. We do a lot of things by ourself because we know that we have to love ourselves 1st, in order to attract love but it still hasn't happened. And folks say, relax, it will happen when you least expect it, but we are always expecting it.
My first day/time here. I try to get optimistic but I feel that no matter what I do I will always be alone except for the company of my pets. I get she's such a nice pretty girl but it's like no one wants to be with me. I try to keep up beat but I am so tired and would like to be with someone. I keep asking GOD "when"!!
Hi everyone! I am new to the site and am having a difficult time navigating my way around. What I have seen I'm uplifted in spirit to know that they're others who are looking for their soul mate. I hope to gain knowledge from those who have found theirs so that I may recognize my mate and be able to hold on to them. I'm in a relationship now but after 6 mo. I'm struggling to understand his emotional constipation. Haha! Thanks to all and God bless.
I'm really disliking myself right now because I gave so much of myself to other family members (FYI: I've never disliked Mom or Dad but loved them then and love them now.) who have since passed away and the chances of having any woman be my soul mate and having her fall in love with me are now near zero.
Pray that I'm wrong and the woman who I want to fall in love with me does so.
Iam single, looking for serious longrelationship, faihful, loving and caring person.
I just wanted to share with you an author that I really love for the single ladies. She has written several books and I have turned to them again and again when I need uplifting in this area. Michele Mckinney Hammond. She is the founder of HeartWing Ministries.

Interesting group I have enjoyed reading the topic on getting ready to meet your soulmate as I have some inner work to do, in preparation for him. The journal article was very informative and useful.
May all who seek a soulmate have deepest well being, happiness, and joy.
