A scholar much wiser than I wanted to name his new book From Oprah to Chopra, but his publisher wouldn't go for it.  Generally, Oprah and Chopra's beliefs are a New Age mixture of Hinduism and Buddhism with a few side roads thrown in.  That same scholar called their beliefs spirituality without God.  Creating your own belief systems that leave out God doesn't deal with sin and its effects.  Those same belief systems blindly ignore heaven and hell and God's righteous standards.  Only faith in Jesus' death on the cross and the blood he shed can take away sin and give us the hope of heaven.  Oprah and Chopra have no answer for sin.  Only Jesus Christ has the anwer.

Distant in the sky

Far from my sighs,

Be of good cheer

God is here.

Look for Him

In deepest ocean,

No need to fear

God is here.

Relgious books,

Searching looks;

Bible makes clear:

God is here.

Various gods

Like a fog;

Jesus makes clear,

God is here.

What is the source of true power?  There are many places to connect to power, but will all of them bring healing, wholeness and peace that satisfies your spirit?  Sadly, many of those sources of power lead into darkness.  Only the Holy Spirit can give us light-filled empowerment to help fight off negative attitudes and temptations.  Only through faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord is the door opened to connecting with the Holy Spirit and the confort and peace he brings.

The Chronicles of Narnia movies and books are a great way to point unbelievers to faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.  Aslan, the lion, represents Jesus in Narnia, and it is easy to make that connection with those who have seen the movies or read the books.

The Bible makes clear that "no person can come to the Father except through Jesus."  In other words, salvation is found in no other name except in faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.  In addition, the Bible also says: "It is appointed once for a person to die and after that the judgment."  We are not reincarnated but live once and then go before God's throne for his righteous judgment.
