I'm a longtime Beliefnetter who enjoys networking with other people of faith. I'm an active member of a growing ELCA congregation in rural Michigan, and recently graduated from our synod's lay ministry trainng program, trying to discern how best to proceed from here; my interests include worship, prayer, ministering within the gay and lesbian community and incorporating spirituality into everyday life.  My other interests/hobbies include reading, writing, birding, gardening, cooking, hiking, "blue highways" travels to interesting small towns and antiquing. I am learning how to canoe and kayak, and I enjoy snowshoeing in the winter. I am an enthusiastic Tigers/MSU Spartans/Detroit Shock fan, and  my partner and I shameless boosters of "outstate" Michigan.
