Bismi-llāhi ar-raḥmāni ar-raḥīmi (in the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful) ...
Dear all,
Welcome to the Sufi Seekers group, a place to share and discuss Sufism, what might be loosely defined as Islamic mysticism, and its historical and conceptual counterpart schools of Wisdom.
With Malihe's gracious support, we have decided to resurrect the forum anew. Unfortunately, all the wonderful posts that had been developed over the past few years (I personally never got to read them all) have vanished into the ether during Beliefnet's recent Yaum al Qiyamah (day of judgement), but inshallah (God willing) this new forum will continue in the same spirit, born of that previous body of discussion like grapes upon a good vine. And then onwards, to produce a Wine of Truth!
The Tailor
Thank you. I have recently entered the Sufi Path, if you can call what I ahve done to be entering the path. I attend 2+ Sufi Dance events a week. Recently attended/absorbed/Celebrated 5 days at Sufi Camp at the Lake of the Ozarks. I find the writings and work of Hazrat Inayat Khan (Sufi Mystic 1880 - 1927) both intensely inspiring and intimately inspired. Sufism, as I understand, welcomes all paths to the Divine, the Beloved, the Only Reality. Sufi Brothers and Sisters I have been blessed to know have been kind, gracious and welcoming. We celebrate great traditions of Islam, Judaism, Christianity, Buddhism, Hindu and Native American. I would love to discuss. At Sufi Camp, I was known as AvidD. Namaste.
