Thanks so much for your kind words of wisdom on my recent journal post " God be with Me," and amen, I agree with your comment:, " . . . makes us so much better." Thank again. God bless you.
Lots of Love, Maggie :)
Thank God, I have been living His word, since the day I gave up my need to be protected by the lie. I use His GOOD Book, to confirm my view, before I share that view with others. He isn't a study for me, I doubt He ever was. For me, He was my longing to love and be a part of His Life. Thank God, His Life, has become what keeps me alive.
We should all lift prayers for women of this world who are suffering, whether through illness or abuse or simply very bad life situations. Thank you for raising this heart breaking issue.
Thanks Steve for that comment on my journal .You know when one suffers in a family there is much suffering in other members of the family . In my job years ago I did see many who suffer . I use to think they are all well educated so all is well with them . Not true ! I think suffering comes mostly from repressed anger and it flares up ....
doing good for others, is not His first command..it is the easy way out. It just continues what has been. Allowing Him to inspire us to change who we are, is His purpose in us..but one I sincerely see, will never be the way of those who prefer to change others rather than themselves.
What do you believe, stops them?

Lord Jesus be merciful to me a sinner.
I believe that is the key to knowing Christ- recognizing our need for Him and our unworthiness before Him.
Still, one thing we need to remember, it is not helpful to beat ourselves over the head because of past hurts. Others have hurt us, but we know that we have not always done for others as we should.
I like the way Paul expresses it in Romans 7-
With the mind I know the law of Christ, but in this flesh dwells no good thing. For with the flesh, we serve the law of the flesh, and with the mind the law of Christ.
So, I think often we remember that we should strive for our minds to control the flesh, but memories of the hurts in the flesh help to keep us humble before Him.
And I thank you my friend ...
Amen- time for this world to come to the light and leave the darkness. Love ya', Steve (I don't think they will- too many love the darkness too much
It is a choice to come to the Light . From my own perspective it is not so much that I loved living in darkness (unforgiveness)it was a deep down feeling of knowing I wasn't loved or accepted . Psychologist Rollo May speaks of this . The need to know acceptance and love . He delt with many criminals who where in need of acceptance early in life and what not .
Thanks for reading my journal I appreciate your input
