I wish to apologize for not giving more moral support for so many friends I have on Beliefnet and Facebook. I hope you understand that this is one reason I do not actively go out to seek to make new friends, because a friend is someone who stands beside you as well as someone you stand beside, but so many friends can become time consuming just trying to keep up with, let alone respond to.
I hope you understand that I read so many posts put up by so many friends that it’s not always easy to keep up with. I appreciate so much that there are people who wish for others to come to know our Savior. It matters not so much the details of faith, but that people are learning to trust Jeremiah 29: 13 to search for the Lord with all your heart. That search, combined with different life experiences by different people may result in different perspectives, however, the Lord knows who in his/her heart is truly searching to know Him better.
I always support the teaching that no man may come to the Father except by the Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. At the same time, I know that in the past, and to some extent even today, there have been/are many who have never seen a Bible or perhaps haven’t so much as heard of Jesus Christ. Do I teach that these may not find salvation? Not at all! I still believe that anyone, even if they have never heard of the Holy Bible or Jesus Christ may come to know the Lord as taught in Jeremiah 29: 13, “You will search for Me (our Creator/Savior) and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.” I believe that one who honestly searches the depths of his soul to know our Creator and to please Him will become acquainted with our Creator’s law of LOVE for mankind, and in that honest search will seek to serve our Creator. That of course does not mean that everyone who runs around talking about ‘love and peace’ are truly searching in their hearts for our Creator.
For all of my friends who share their personal search to know Jesus better, I am truly grateful for your sharing.
