I'm just trying to figure out what it's all about. Raised Catholic, I left the Church and came into what can only be described as a spiritual desert. Not satisfied with organized religion (experienced firsthand enough gossip, backstabbing, legalism, fear, and spiritual "popularity contest" tactics to last me several lifetimes!) I converted to secular humanist philosophies. That has worked much better for me but doesn't fully account for several paranormal and spiritual experiences I've had. So here I am, trying to find middle ground.

I recently made a wonderful discovery that only confirmed the inklings I ignored for many years. I am a firm believer in Soul Mates and Twin Souls or Twin Flames, but not in the traditional sense of romantic relationships. Yes, Twins and Soul Mates CAN involve romantic love, but this is not always the case, seeing the broken hearts of many in our society who think they've found "the one" only to be used and hurt. We have many Soul Mates in our lifetime. They can take the form of family, friends, lovers, partners, even strangers on the street if they come into our lives for a reason. Twin Flames may also be any of the above, but you only have one Twin. In my case, my Twin Soul is also my Guide during this lifetime, which is both a fascinating and complex situation!
