I have always been spiritual, even when I was very little. I've spent a good chunk of my life in Hell, but even so I have always lived by the idea that the moon may set and leave you in darkness, but the sun will rise and give you its brightness. I believe everyone is on his or her own path and is free to believe whatever he or she wants, as long as it harms none. I believe we are here to learn, to explore, and to love. I don't believe in Hell or the devil. I believe bad things happen because no one is perfect and people make mistakes. God/ the Goddess/ the Light is a loving entity who does not like to see us suffer and hurt one another, but knows that Heaven means nothing unless a person has felt sadness and pain. We are all children of the Light. I believe we should help others and try to learn and experience everything we can in our time here on Earth and that by doing so we honor the God and Goddess. I don’t believe elaborate rituals or worship and denial of the physical world are necessary to obtain entrance to Heaven. Once we have learned or experienced a bit of everything and are kind to others as well as ourself, we will return to the Light, or Heaven. I believe we should honor and respect Mother Earth. I believe in reincarnation and that everything living is part of the Light and is connected and should be treated with respect. I believe that there are angels who have lived out their cycles of death and rebirth and have returned to Earth from Heaven to help those still here. These angels may also be called gods, goddesses, saints, or just good people. I also believe the God and Goddess also visit the Earth to guide and relieve great suffering. I believe everyone is inherently good. I believe rituals and religions are just different ways we connect and celebrate. I follow the Wiccan Rede: "As long as thou harm none, do what thou wilt" and believe in Karma. I'm interested in meeting other Pagans and anyone else who is open minded and accepting.
