It has been over a year since I have been on beliefnet. There is so much going on in this world I am a part of that it seems appropriate for me to get reinvolved with this community. I see a trend of more separation and less unity. I see corporations seeking to get control of government for their own self interest. While I am retired I do enjoy selling bumper stickers dealing with truths such as coexisting and varied wisdom at the local farmers market along with crystal prisms to bring more beauty into peoples lives. I need to get to work re-doing my website spiritualoptions.org to update it to reflect the current situation. People seem to have forgotten that trickle down economics which was introduced during the Reagan era did not work. The best depiction of that was an editorial cartoon showing a urinal in a mens room. Another thing that seems to be forgotten is that a business's primary goal is to EXPLOIT. Not only do business's exploit natural resources but also employees, shareholders and governments. God will certainly need to help us if we become a corporatocracy instead of a democracy. Anyhow bottom line for me is to find more energy in myself to bring to this situation and hopefully be a part of changing the course of events to one that works for all of God's children.
