There is a blogger contest, which winner will have a paid year contract with Beliefnet. I know you are one of the finest blogger here, so I do hope you participate. You only have to enter 5 journals in your profile, before july 31st, and before that you need to send the participation subscription to Beliefnet so they can evaluate your journals.
Best regards I enjoy your trip to Iceland.
Your'e welcome. It was a good read.
Things are fine here, wishing the same for you.
Coming from a professor, a spiritual writer and a scholar theologist, your appreciation of my comments on your journals, are more than a compliment, Thanks for your kindness.
Your welcome Soultrekker, your welcome. Your writings stir up my mind also, and I Thank you for that.
Hey Soultrekker I do not want you to loose any of your ideals, but don´t loose track of reality. In trekking and hiking being real can be a matter of life and death.
However you can keep on trying avoiding dangerous situations, as you said before and if you achieve your goal, I will celebrate with you..... and I am very serious now.
That is the purpose on going through out the process of learning, to gain goodness out of it and to be able to share it with others for their own benefit.
Elementary, Soultrekker, elementary!
I think what you did at mississippi was paid attention to your actions, even though was a dirty exausting job. probably you started reluctantly, but you kept doing the work knowing it was your duty after having a real sight of the tragedy. The ultimate result is your today soul nourishing satisfaction.
This is not only an idea. it can be proved anywhere and at anytime. It comes from buddhist teaching endorsement of "paying attention only to the present moment, without any attachment to results or rewards, will ultimately bring to you enlightment". (which can be translate as soul-nourishing).
Thank you for your kind words about my poetry. I can´t deny nature is a muse to me in many ways. Please read on page No. 6 of my journals another poem I wrote, it has a picture of little blue hummingbird and is titled "The grace of nature in my daily life". I hope you like it.
