I believe we are all here collectively, yet individual at the same time to carry the will of our Creator. We each have a purpose and that's to carry out God's Will so seek it, believe it, define it for yourself, confirm with God and then carry it out.

2008 Pledge: "A Time to Be Kind To Me"

Today, is the beginning of a new season in my life. I choose to make a difference in how I treat myself and how I allow others to treat me. I affirm that this is my time now:

1. A time to stop beating myself up about my past experiences. A time to a say, I've made some mistakes—and so what? A time to move forward in life.

2. A time to be truthful with my thoughts. A time to be bold and not be afraid of speaking my mind or showing my true feelings.

3. A time to stop letting others take me for granted. A time to stop giving away my talents for free. A time to express my creativity.

4. A time to appreciate the beautiful body temple that God has blessed me with. A time to know that I am a lovely gift from God, exactly how I am.

5. A time to believe I am worthy of love. A time to attract only a nice, decent man into my heart. A time to know that my sexuality is sacred and valuable. A time to adopt the fact IÂ’m important and deserving of healthy love.

6. A time to get rid of negative energies. A time to have only good friends who genuinely care about my well-being. A time to remove all damaging deadweight from my life.

7. A time to just smile and welcome joy into my life. A time to just simply be kind to me.

This healthy Relationship Pledge will help to empower and prepare me to receive healthy love in my life. I will not allow anyone to disrespect, mistreat, or belittle me in any way.

As an ADVOCATE: In relationships, I tend to be giving, sympathetic, and kind. Not always the most practical person, but I can be an exciting person to be around and make close new friendships quickly and are honest with others about what I am thinking and feeling.

As a PEACEMAKER: I tend to be sensitive, dependable, and loving. I am willing to compromise and sacrifice for those I love and have the capacity for a great deal of empathy. I’m sensitive to subtle changes in the mood and well-being of those close to me and try to lift people up when they are down.

As a PROVIDER : I tend to be kind and selfless and my loving loyalty is the foundation for personal relationships and has allowed me to withstand many extreme hardships. I value my friends and family greatly, and I’m told my social, entertaining nature causes people to be drawn to me. I enjoy being with a small group of close friends and value the simple things in life.

If you all haven't noticed I like motivational reads, self help incentives and spiritual food for the soul and try to maintain a healthy balance in life which can be a challenge daily, but I'm up for the challenge!
