THE LORD WILL RESCUE YOU

(King James Version)
1Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.
2His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.
3Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever.
4Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.
5A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion.
6Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.
7He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD.
8His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he see his desire upon his enemies.
9He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour.
10The wicked shall see it, and be grieved; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.
Let us examine the wisdom of Psalm one and improve on lives and gain power.
“Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.”
If you walk with integrity, before the Lord, no matter what you are going through, light will be at the end of the tunnel. God remembers your good qualities; therefore he will not allow a negative situation to destroy you. God will moves with compassion.
"A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion.”
A good person according to verse five, enjoys helping others and they also demonstrate wisdom in business, by doing what is right, honest and fair.
“Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.”
The Lord will not have you in an ongoing negative situation; He will come through for you. Remember the words of Psalm 34, the righteous cry and the Lord heard and delivered them out of all their troubles. God will always remember you; you will be in everlasting remembrance. God remembers the righteous; He will never forget the righteous.
“ He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD.”
This is my favorite verse; it simply means that when you get bad news, or when calamity bombards you on every side, run to the throne of grace and leave your burdens there. This is the favor of the righteous. When problems come, there should be an instinctive move for you to pray, praise and worship. Job is a fine example for that. When problems came, Job prayed and worshiped God. That is your role as a person walking in righteousness. Many fake believers like to run to God while still disrespecting Him and get upset at God when He’s not at their beckon call. God is not your slave, this higher power is not your ping pong ball, He is utmost infinite power that deserves respect. It is important to read and study the word of God. If you don’t, you will not understand that as part of this consciousness, you have a part to play; your duty is to walk in alignment. When you do, when problems face you, instead of panicking, taking drugs, getting a heart attack and other problems, you will totally surrender all to God, believing this spirit that is all powerful can come up with a solution for you. Finally, I could go on and no about the verse. Conclusively, verse seven teaches us, when you get bad news about anything, expect God to still solve it for you no matter if it seems impossible, still expect a miracle.
We will further explore Psalm 112 in the next post.
Peace be unto you!
