This I posted yerterday on Beliefnet Spiritual Poetry, Chain-Poem Game and I hope all Beliefnet members feel related to it.

Be a Beautififul Butterfly
Believe the old saying
"Time flies when you alive...."
Don´t waste your time...
Don´t waste your life...
Don´t let your heart
to hold too much the pains.
Don´t let your mind
to grab resentful thoughts.
Laugh, dance, smile, enjoy, and love,
be a life challenger, don´t ever withdraw
because when is time to say goodbye to life
you won´t have any more time
for your life to be a Beautiful Butterfly.
The picture above is an out of space photo of a Nebulosa, taken by Nasa and resembling very much a transparent beautiful butterfly.

Our inner sacred self is part of our basic character and identity. It is also the connection between us and those larger forces existing in the real world of living and the realm of the spiritual world.
The forces of the real world can be defined as myths, paradigms or archetypes, the forces of the realm of the spiritual world, can be define as good or evil. If we want to balance the forces of our spiritual world we need willingly to choose which myths, paradigms or archetypes we want to be associated with, because those forces are what eventally will define or construct our sacred inner self.
Within us exists the power to create or destroy and that is conditioned by what we have chosen to be our inner self . The paths to our inner self are within our organic body, our mind awareness and consciousness, depends of what is that we are putting in our bodies, and the myths, paradigms and archetypes our minds are perceiving and absorving. We should be aware of what really are , that we are feeding to our inner self, We can be creating a beatiful being that radiates the best of both worlds, for our own benefit and others or a real monster that creates destruction and suffering for us and others. Or inner self is the product of our choices , as well as is what we want to become throughout our own existing lives and that of others closest to us.

These are the things I can´t live without:
My daughter who lives at great distance from me,
my grandaughter who is now two years and a half old
and because I don´t see her since she was a fragil crowling baby,
with not teeth, not hair, but when she woke up and saw me near her crib,
stretched her arms and her greatest smile appeared on her lips,
I am here now, treasuring those memories
to my heart and soul contentment.
My house, which I have put together from scratch,
painted and decorated to my taste,
where I feel at ease, comfortable and safe.
My books, which I always come back to renew my thoughts.
My music which take me to highest places of happyness and pleasure.
My plants which I saw growing and becoming full of leaves,
with colorful flowers that make everything nice and smelling good and sweet.
My hometown, where we all know each other well,
where a hello and smiling faces we share with each other at all times,
and caring for each other health and well being is our daily task.
My closest friends, whom will always have my love
and a place in my heart and thoughts.
My computer, my cyber friends, beliefnet forums,
photos, communities and blogs.
Those are the things I have made all mine,
and because I have realized I can´t live without them
for the rest of my mortal life,
I think they would live for ever in my heart and mind.

After two years of being a member of beliefnet, for the first time and after I wrote my previous journal, and I click the "submit your post" tag, a legend appeared informing me that "my journal have being summitted and that it will be published after the moderator approve it".
Is this a new rule or what? After two days the mentioned journal, magicly showed up on my blog, and I try to edit it and after I submitted it again the same legend showed up and my journal disapperead again.
I thought only Forums have moderators . This kind of censorship is discussing, specially after so many years contributing to this web. I would like to have an explanation from the moderator and please let me know why I had been censored, and if this will be continued for ever.

Time of leisure, wonder and pleasure.
Planting, seeding, fertilizing and watering
all my being open
to beauty, aroma and testing
while the explosion of fruits, colors,
flowers, aromatic herbs and species,
saturate my senses...unexplicable.
My back yard garden---
my favorite spot for living,
enjoyment and dreaming.

To know thyself is essential in order to grow in spirituality. We should make a daily evaluation of our actions to know how we are investing our time, energies and will power.
Under a daily evaluation if we are wasting our time, energies and will power in deceptive behaviour, a shameful wave heat will flow troughout us, and we will picture in our mind the different occasions we behaved wrong against ourselves or others. This is the point, where we have to ask the object of our faith or worship to reinforce us with His spirit and grace to assist us in every step of our life, to turn the negative behaviour into a more positive and conscious acts. To know thyself will freed us as if wings grow out of us and make us fly to hightest spiritual levels.
From the book "The four agreements" I want to share with all of you , some statements the author Don Miguel Ruiz pointed out as the main key to master wisdom in our lives, and use them as a tool to grow in spirituality.
BE IMPECCABLE WITH YOUR WORDS. Speak with integrity. Say only what you mean. Avoid using the word to speak against yourself or to gossip about others. Use the power of your word in the direction of truth and love.
DON´T TAKE ANYTHING PERSONALLY. Nothing others do is because of you. What others say and do is a projection of their own reality, their own dreams. When you are immune to the opinions and actions of other, you won´t be the victim of needless suffering.
DON´T MAKE ASSUMPTIONS. Find the courage to ask questions and to express what you really want. Communicate with others as clearly as you can to avoid misunderstandings.

I am not a mentalist, in the strict meaning of the word, but I do believe that what we are arises from our thoughts, and with our thoughts we make things happening in the world.
Speaking or acting with bad intention, will make trouble to follow us, as the wheel follows the horse that draws the cart.
Speaking and acting with pure heart and good intention will make happiness to follow us as a shadow, persistently.
We must live in love so love live within us. Only love dispel unhappiness and sorrows. This is a law.
Whoever is master of his own nature and mind, remains bright, clear and truthful to himself and others. Mistaking the false for the thruth will make us dwell deeply into the world of desire, which will bring frustration and suffering to our lives if things do not evolve according to our own wishes. We must keep ourselves close to our heart and follow our divine nature.

Last Friday I say goodbye to my younger sister, who was visiting me from Miami. Her visit lasted for one month, and I have to accommodate my life routine to serve her. I change my eating habits, sleeping hours, and even stop doing my meditation and yoga exercises. I like to be the perfect hostess and I did everything from my heart to make her feel welcome and happy.
To serve others it give you a profound feeling of fulfiling a duty. It´s an achievement of love and compassion , a great practice to prepare you perhaps to greater accomplishments.
It was really nice to have company for a while for a change, but it´s also nice to comeback to your usual life routine, that make you feel safe, happy and content.

This month we celebrate in our country, Dominican Republic the 166th anniversary of the glorious day we become independent of foreign occupation, and for ever a democratic republic. It is true that our politic behaviour was not always democratic and many dictatorial regimes has plagued our beloved soil, but already for more than half a century we have been electing our governments by democratic votes.
The month of February throughout every town and city, the festivities are shown with a joyful carnival with customs and masks representing the culture of each region. Being a Caribbean country with so much heritage from different ancestral roots, such as the aboriginal, Spaniards and Africans, all these cultures are represented in our carnival, as well as fantasy customs and folkloric personages.
I will be posting some of the pictures taken today of the first carnival day in my hometown, as well as some pictures of the patriots that make possible our independence in the 18th century.

When we invoke divine protection or when we pray for divine healing, we are connecting with a powerful and mysterious force. Those that have experienced it, know exactly what I am talking about.
This powerful and mysterious force it´s like a shining light that glow within our mind and body, lifting our spirit up and allowing the healing power within the light to dissolve all the wounds of our spirit and restore our body health.
Recovering is a process and we should never stop renewing it through daily prayers or meditation , which are the proper tools that will help us to absorb the divine healing light .
Let´s start each day renewing ourselves, and let´s take each day as a new beginning for a healthy living. Let´s pray and meditate mindfully , sincerely and with the purest heart, which means never giving up, never loosing hope, and never stop having faith in ourselves, in our fellow human beings, and most of all in the divine healing power of God.
