In my experience I would say stay as close to family and friends as you can. I moved one state away. Got married and had 3 kids. Now I'm back living in Michigan and my kids have to travel back and forth to see their parents and family while living in Chgo. Daughter lives here with her son and both don't know where home should be here or Chgo. It's a hard drive in ton's of traffic to go back and forth and that will be for the rest of their life because their father's family lives in the Chgo. area. Now with my health problems it is horribly hard for me to take the trip,but I have to because my kids and grandkids are there as well as husbands family. What a big mistake! God guide you in your decision.
