Hi Shelly, I tried everything when I was attempting to stop smoking and nothing worked. I'd go a few weeks and always start back up. That was until I read Allen Carr's book "The Easy Way To Stop Smoking." I read it purely and simply to disprove it because deep down I don't think I really wanted to quit. I smoked while reading it (he tells you to) and somewhere around page 40 the desire to smoke lifted completely and I became a non-smoker. Allen Carr doesn't use the term ex-smoker, he says once you quit you become a non-smoker, that way you're unconnected altogther with the disgusting habit. Quitnet is a good online resource too. Anyhow, I'm thinking of you. If I can do it and if Allen Carr can do it (he smoked 5 packs a day!) then anyone can. All the very best, Jonathan. Infinite Knowing |
