About Me
Thanks so much for joining me here on the web. Many of you know me from several different places. I'm a Christian author, singer and speaker from Ayr, Scotland. For the past eleven years I've had the privilege of serving as one of the featured speakers with Women of Faith, America's largest women's conference with over 3 million who've attended (more at www.womenoffaith.com). But some of you may also know me when I co-hosted "The 700 Club" as well as my own talk show "Heart to Heart with Sheila Walsh" on the Family Channel. I make my home now in Dallas, Texas (a long way from Scotland!) with my husband, Barry, and son, Christian. I've included a photo of Christian and our two adorable dogs, Belle and Tink. ![]()

Recently I finished a new book titled Get Off Your Knees &
Pray: A Woman's Guide to Life-Changing Prayer. I have spent much of my life trying to be "good enough" for God - to get all my spiritual "ducks in a row" before I came to Him. That's a lonely way to live. We have been created for intimate relationship with our Father. The greatest source of joy and peace in my life today is the absolute conviction that I can come to God as I am and be loved and accepted! It's message is simple...if we are loved by God as we are, then we can talk to Him as we are. For many of you, I know that prayer is a difficult thing. My desire in writing this book is that you will realize that talking to God doesn't have to be intimidating and that many facets of your life are a non-ending prayer. You just may not know it. I hope this book is a stepping stone to a more intimate relationship with our Saviour.

Why do some prayers go un answered? - July 19, 2008 - 11:26 AM
All of our prayers are heard and answered by God you just might not like the answer. We have a loving God who can not offer up a solution to a situation you charted for yourself to teach others a lesson about something about life, love and compassion. I do hope that the Christian world will one day see God/Mother and Father as those of us who are very Spiritually enlightened do so that they will know that what they are going through is a way of teaching lesson to others. I am an ordained Spiritual Minister, Counselor and Grief Counselor and I want everyone to know that all of your prayers are heard and answered but no one said you would like God's response. Love and Enlightenment to you always Pastor Sandie
