I am wondering if there are others in the BNet community who may have, or still suffer from a condition known as depersonalization? It is a condition where the mind wants to detach itself from your body and from your life situation in general. For may people it happens either from drug use or from trauma, or sometimes injury.

I had very much of this in my younger years, probably from drug use. For the most part I am through it, but I do still get it from time to time, and sometimes it can stick around for days or weeks. I've learned how to live through it. I've used the experience to gainspiritual insights and advance despite the condition. So I am currious if others here have experienced this.
