Ok I find this very irritating, but presumably because no one has posted to the forum in at least 4 months, BN seems to have deleted everything that was there already, which for me is a major pain in the *ss.

For everyone's information, (as you may have guessed) I haven't been around for quite a while - but I would like to get this group going again, and seeing as there are already around 30 members (which was a pleasant surprise) now more than ever, I feel a need to get you folks talking. I will come on again and try to repost some of the topics I first put in the forum to stimulate some conversation, but guys, if this group is going to work at all, you're all going to have to throw in your two cents, and lively up the groups activity.

This group could be really good, but I need your help to make it good.

This Saturday at 7pm GMT, I'll be carrying out a small healing ceremony to pay respect to all those unfortunate folk affected by the attacks in Mumbai. I'll be calling on the spirits of Wolf and Snake to help me, I'll be drumming, dancing, meditating, and offering my deepest thoughts and love for all those involved. The ceremony will be about 45mins long. So far, it's just me thats doing it, but  if you're able to join me in spirit, (i.e. carry out the same/similar ceremony at the same time) you are welcome.

In fact, the more people who join me, the better.

Please help me spread the word.

Well, I don't personally celebrate Thanksgiving, but the thought just came to me that it's still a nice idea to celebrate the end of the harvest season.

When you live in such a modern setting like a city, it's easy to fall out of sync with the changing seasons, and to forget about things like the harvest season.

But this year I'm going to try something new, and this could be a nice idea for others to try out as well, especially if like me, you don't usually celebrate Thanksgiving. I discovered a nice little touch for the end of an "end of harvest" ceremony that I picked up from "Sacred Ceremony" by Steven D. Farmer. he describes the end of a group ceremony where some fresh grapes and small morsels of warm buttered bread are brought to the group, and, sitting in a circle, each person in turn, takes a grape and/or a piece of bread, and feeds it to the person next to them. The food goes around the circle and by the end, everyone has partaken in this symbolic "nourishing" of their kin/close friends.

I think it's a really heart warming thought to incorporate in to a celebration of this season, and I plan to make use of it this week. I hope you do to.
