For the longest time since I was young I wanted to expand my knowledge of other belifes and how connected we really are. I started reading about other religions in a book by Huston Smith. This is when I came across Buddhism and started looking around for a more down to earth personalized denomination of Buddhism. This was when I started meeting friends, became a member, and just recieved my Gohonzon March 28, 2008.
