It has taken me awhile to finally be free to be myself. I could not be be true to who I was until I fixed the relationships in my own life.  Being who you are is the path to a meaningful and successful life, but there was so much resentful & hurtful feelings within me.  Resentment can be a very destructive force in our lives, it can block us from having meaningful relationships.  It was limiting  effectiveness in my life.  I was resenting people and rejecting people around me.  It was very difficult to forgive anyone who hurt me so I would not forgive and turn the hurt on to someone else.  The anger and fear I kept inside me was like a cancer growing in my Soul.  It only hurt me!  I had to learn to forgive myself before I could forgive anyone else.  I asked God to help me learn how to forgive, to help me to stop resenting and rejecting the people around and to learn to LOVE.  In life we reap what we sow.  If we resent and reject that is what we get in return.  God has forgiven me in all my trespasses so I had to learn to forgive all those who had trespassed against me.   "If ye forgive men their trespasses your heavenly Father will also forgive you." THIS WEEK I WILL EMBARK ON A JOURNEY TO A ENTER A NEW CHAPTER IN MY LIFE.  I HAVE TO SAY, THAT I AM A LITTLE FEARFUL.  I AM AFRAID OF FAILURE AND THAT I MIGHT BE MAKING A BIG MISTAKE.  I TURNED TO MY BIBLE FOR ANSWERS AND I HEAR GOD TALK TO ME.  IT"S LIKE A WHISPER IN MY EAR.  THE PROMISE LAND BELONGS TO WHOEVER TAKES A RISK.  JUST TRY AND DO YOUR BEST LISTEN TO THE INNER VOICE OF THE SPIRIT.  ATTEMPT TO DO GREAT THINGS FOR GOD AND EXPECT GREAT THING'S FROM GOD.  I AM STARTING MY OWN BUSINESS WITH THE HELP OF SISTER AND GOD.  WHETHER I FAIL OR SUCCEED I AM TAKING THE CHALLENGE THAT GOD HAS SET BEFORE ME.  GOD IS ALWAYS WITH US. 

 ISAIAH 43:1-2 HE  SAYS, "DON'T BE AFRAID, BECAUSE I HAVE SAVED YOU. I HAVE CALLED YOU BY NAME, AND YOU ARE MINE.  WHEN YOU PASS THROUGH THE WATERS, I WILL BE WITH YOU.  WHEN YOU CROSS THROUGH THE RIVERS YOU WILL NOT DROWN.  WHEN YOU WALK THROUGH FIRE, YOU WILL NOT BE BURNED, NOR WILL THE FLAMES HURT YOU." 

 I KNOW THAT I AM SAFE AND WILL FACE THE CHALLENGE WITHOUT FEAR.

We all feel good when someone praises us.  We love to be thanked and appreciated.  We look at the person who praised us as kind and heartfelt.  That is how God feels when we give him praise and adore him.  It's important that we praise him every day.  Just take the time and thank the lord for all the wonderful things he has done for us.  Take the time to see the beauty he has created for us.  Do not dwell on the negative but take pleasure in the positive.  Pray to the Lord and give him thanks.  God is the foundation of our lives.  Focus on his strengths, he will carry us through the most difficult time.  Thank him every day and every night.  He will smile upon you when you make him happy.  Praise the LORD. 

My purpose today is try to find out what my life is about and where it is heading. I have always enjoyed reading and writing, but lately my thoughts have been overcrowding my mind.  I have the need or the purpose to write down my ideas and thoughts.  I have to decide what type of writing I need to pursue.  I guess expressive writing makes more sense for me since it is writing to express my own personal thoughts and feelings.  So I begin my journey to find my purpose in my writing abilities.

I grew up in rural Phila. I remember hot lazy summer afternoons spent under an apple tree, smelling the sweet scent of apple blossoms, reading a Nancy Drew or Hardy Boys mysteries.  It was to hot to play so I would hide from my 4 brothers & 1 sister.  There were cornfields, apple & pear orchards.  Just taking it easy and drinking lemonade my grandmother would make fresh with a nice slice of her pound cake was a perfect summer afternoon.
