Technically I'm an atheist.I don't believe in an anthropomorphic father figure type of god.The very idea is ridiculous as I believe what we have known about current cosmology proves every religion that views man as the center creation in universe wrong.

That's not to say I don't believe in some type of "higher power".What that higher power is,I don't know and I believe it is impossible to know as it is way beyond human comprehension at this time and I believe religion serves as a rather poor attempt to explain why we're here and give our little species meaning to our existence.

The supernatural or paranormal is of interest to me,yet I believe all things "supernatural" can and will become "natural" when they are explained by science.I don't believe that explaining the natural world with science diminishes it's beauty and awe,but rather compliments it.
