i'm eclectic, and respect all beliefs.  i believe that one law stands alone, and at the highest peak...

"Love one another"

i would like to meet like minded individuals, hopefully in the same area, so that we could explore and encourage each other.  i would also like to meet a woman to share the rest of my life with.  i would respect her faith, and would hope that she respects my beliefs.

i like to joke around, but i'm very serious about life.  in the past year (mostly because my son is starting on his own path into adulthood), i've really felt the urge to start making a difference in this world.  i'm hoping to make some really great friends on here, and start growing some really beautiful things.  i am so close to quitting my job of 25 years (it's not a bad job, just not fulfilling), and taking a much more meaningful direction.

i suffered a terrible accident when i was 23, and lost the fingers on my right hand.  my hand was mangled so bad, that i had to talk the doctor into not cutting it off.  through some wonderous surgeries, i was given the ability to grasp again.  it doesn't slow me down, as i still play hockey, ride my dirtbike, and golf.  rock climbing, and piano are out of the question, lol.  i don't ask for any special treatment, and actually consider it to be an experience that has enriched my life.  i was seconds from being killed, so i feel lucky to be alive.  while i do feel sorrow for unfortunate events, i believe that, in the end, everything will be ok.
