A good question: 'Am I a realist?'  Some say I am an idealist.  Some say I am a realist.  Some say I am just a crazy old man.  Some say I am a literalist.  Some say I am not.  

I do look for many levels of meaning in each thing I see.  I look to the ideal for all of humanity.  Then I write what I believe, feel, and know.  I live to the best of my ability what I share with others.  It is my way of life.  Living your words -- does that make one a realist?  

I write of harmony and peace -- but I carry a gun to work.  My world is harmonious and peaceful for my job is to keep it that way.  I know the truly poor and the street people too.  I know the very rich and those who think they are. Love and happiness is shared with each person I meet.  If you were to come my way, you would sometimes laugh but always smile.  But, if you saw through my eyes you would cry.  

Another individual said I did not know the real world.  But I know it well.  Maybe too well.
