Dear Ranchhand. I am so impressed by your wisdom and knowledge. Your answers to Lt Sulu are very well crafted. I feel it is important that he listen to you and I believe that you get through to him. It seems that he does have respect for you and as her reads and digests more I feel that this respect will grow. He has pain inside because of what happened with his brother but I feel that he can recieve some kind of healing from listening to the gay people here, especially you. Perhaps he has a stereotyped view of gays and by talking to people here he can lose some of these stereotypes. I would hope that he will be able to appreciate the beauty of human diversity. Greetings Ranchhand. You are a stay at home dad with 5 children. Wow! What an inspiration. I felt so sad when I read that when you were young your parents did not accept you. Did it make a diffence when you had children? Perhaps seeing you as a dad and loving their grandchildren would make them appreciate you for the wonderful man that you are. I have pretty much lived a sheltered life and sadly I am not really friends with any gay couples. I did have a gay couple that I talked to on the internet but they have split up. The one guy especially is a really great guy and I talk to him almost daily. I have learned so much by talking to people from different backgrounds. I am glad that I am accepting and tolerant of others and this includes becoming more accepting of myself. Have a great day and God bless you. Peace & Love - Mareczku
