I made a big decision yesterday. I dropped my class that was one of my prerequisites for the PhD program I was applying to. I immersed myself so deeply in the school work that I was neglegcting my job, so I'm going to direct that energy into work. We do good things that help people, so it's worth it. It's also more important to me to convert to Reform Judaism than to get a PhD, so I'm going to direct my energy into that as well. I need to take care of myself and I wasn't when I was balancing work and school. It's disappointing because I was making an A and had just finished what I thought was a really good 35 page paper.
