I've been writing like a maniac for the past few weeks for my Juvenile Delinquency Problems class. The paper outline with references is due tonight, so, being stupid, I decided to finish the whole paper before writing my outline. It's not even due until Thanksgiving! I do have quite a bit to revise, tho'; I've never used the Chicago Style Manual before and we have to put the PAGE NUMBER in every parenthetical citation (I did not do this or keep these numbers). So it's a good thing I finished early.
I need to get my mind off juveniles and meth and think about something else. We start a new book after tonight; it's in my backpack but I haven't even looked at it. I'm keeping up with my reading of Jewish ethics (which is easy because I enjoy it so much) but I've also added some material about conversion to Reform Judaism. I bought a tiny copy of The Torah this afternoon at lunch; I'll add small bits to my reading sessions. I've also been so tired from writing that I'm skipping my meditation sessions (not good; this is keeping my anxiety under control). My mind needs to relax just so I can write, if nothing else.
