Being openly pagan - what does that entail? This group is to share experiences, tips and discussion about being "out of the broom closet." Dealing with family, friends, work, and general reaction - share it here!

We also welcome folks who are still private about their pagan beliefs, but would like to talk about their eventual move forward. -- Group guidelines are posted in the group's Journal section.

Imhotep, Everyone, I'm 31 almost 32 (I'll be 32 next week on the 16th) and I'm a practicing Egyptian Pagan. I honor and worship Bast, Sekhmet, Hathor, Anubis, and Hathor's husband Horus. Being a public pagan is easy for me as my Wadjet doesn't get any comments from people. I look forward to talking to others here and to find others like me. The only thing that gets me upset is the fact that my mother puts things on my shrine that I don't want. I don't think she takes my path seriously. Oh well, can't wait to move out.

Help a grad student out? Hello everyone, I'm a professional psychology graduate student researching the ways in which minority faith (such as Paganism) impacts its practitioners' experiences of mental health services. Here's your chance to say what you've always wished mental health practitioners (e.g. therapists, counselors, social workers, psychiatrists, etc.) knew about you and your faith. If you could take a moment and complete my questionnaire here: www.surveymonkey.com/s/earthfaith , I would be greatly appreciative!

Hi, This is by way of introduction. I'm not a practitioner, but would probably describe myself as panentheist. Solitary. Looking to reinforce and become more aware of my connections to Nature. Thanks for being here. Jule
