To the calling heart GOD answers, to the waiting heart GOD ARRIVES...
Listen to the warnings we recieve
from Our Mother earth.
Telling us we've taken enough
and we need to give back and replant.
Take our time again
prepare nourish to our love ones again.
Go back to a time not so long ago,
when we all knew how to grow
and we took only what we needed from her.
She is magnificent
with Her deep flowing waters
Her moutains and canyons
Her sun and moon to nourish Her
as well as the wind and rain.
Her shifts and Her quakes.
The pulse of Her core
building and pounding.
Let us listen, let us hear
Father God help us.
Our Earth to US so dear.
John 15 1-12
"I am the true vine and my Father is the vine grower. He takes away every branch in me that does not bear fruit, and everyone that does he prunes so that it bears more fruit. You are already pruned because of the woprd that I spoke to you.
Remain in me, as I remain in you. Just as a branch cannot bear fruit on its own unless it remains on the vine, so neither can you unless you remain in me. I am the vine, you are the branches. Whoever remains in me and I in him will bear much fruit, because without me you can do nothing. Anyone who does not remain in me will be thrown out like a branch and wither.
If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask for whatever you want and it will be done for you. By this is my Father glorified, that you bear much fruit and become my disciples.
As the Father loves, so I also love you. Remain in my love. If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Fathers commandments and remain in His love.
I have told you this so that my joy might be in you and your joy might be complete. This is my commandment: LOVE ONE ANOTHER AS I LOVE YOU." Jesus said....
The ancient waters that were here long before the land, long before us. The waters were OUR CREATORS first works. To bring birth to all LIFE. Keep the word of GOD pouring into your mind and heart like fresh water. It purifies, it renews; it energizes; it brings peace and joy.
Worry looks around, Sorrow looks back; and FAITH keeps looking up.
God please help us all to keep on moving forward in all our affairs. Help us to look up to You for our strength, especially when times are tough because that is when we need you most. Everyday is a new beginning in YOU. Faith is "the gift of GOD". Faith is the feeling of harmony between us and YOU LORD. You give us assurence, a sense of protection and a promise of salvation. Thank YOU GOD for all of YOUR DIVINE LOVE. Amen
The directions on a packet of seeds reads: "Seeds need darkness to germinate". It makes me think of myself. I want to grow. I want to become more than I am. Yet so often my self-guided efforts leave me feeling empty, looking for something more. The "germination", the better life that I seek, must start in darkness.~Father Peter John Cameron.
For what is the light worth without darkness? What is warmth without the cold. We don't know the love and redemption of God until will have experienced the empty lonliness of sin and lived in its darkness. We are all sinners, and we are all worthy of GODS forgiveness.
There is nothing tricking about prayer, it's about simply tuning in to GOD'S presence. We never have to get GOD'S attention, we always have it. We never have to make an appointment, we are always first on HIS list. When we give GOD a call we never get HIS voicemail. Its a direct connection. To draw near to GOD we don't have to travel anywhere, HE comes to US. All we have to do is turn off the mute botton and let prayer happen.
Jesus wasn't miserly about forgiveness, or about the things of this world. He fasted, but he also ate and drank with sinners. He taught of balance of things of the world, giving and recieving, reaping what we sow.
Maybe sometimes we hold on too tightly to "things". A "loose hold" would be better. Fasting and giving things away are two great ways to overcome a tight-fisted hold on things that will eventually pass away anyhow. Spring is just around the corner. Some creative "spring cleaning" could turn up a lot of things we can let go of, and let someone else enjoy.
Why after all of the existence of humankind in the last 2011 years of recorded time do we recall and celebrate the death and resurrection of Jesus? I know He was GOD. He had to walk as one of us to teach us how to be close to Him and experience our own resurrection.
If GOD could take something as awful as the crucifixion and transform it into something life - giving, then God could do the same with the worst things in our lives. Its our oppurtunity to give birth to more deeper parts of our spirits, our true selves, become enlightened.
The story of Jesus is a true story. He dies. But the story doesn't end in death. My story is also a true story. I will die. This time of year, the end of winter awaiting the life of spring is a great time to reflect and meditate on life and death...and life after death.
Jesus was very simple in everything that he taught us. Some people revel in their efforts to make deep theology out of the teachings of Christ, but the MASTER made it very clear. He taught us that loving God and your fellow human beings was the essence of all He had to say. Jesus taught us not to fear, but to trust in God, because He will always take care of His own. God said "I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee" Hebrews 13:5
The dreams GOD plants inside us are like roses in a garden of weeds. It is a struggle to give sunshine and water to your dreams when you are surrrounded by the thorns of frustrated and unconcerned people. Yet let us be thankful for GOD'S PROMISE.
