The single mother struggling to provide for her kids. The good hearted preacher, who truly loves his job. The employer who tries to do right by his employees. The christian who truly lives his/her life for God and not the world around them.

About Me
What to say about me? Hmm. Let's see. I'm 40ish. I'm happily married since 1985 to Stanley. works hard to support me and our two kids, Donnie(20) and Grace(18). In 2004, I became sick, and had to learn to set aside my perfectionist, workaholic ways. I no longer work and my goal now is to enjoy life.
I love to laugh, I love to smile. I love a good joke, and I also enjoy good music. I like most genres, but I am also adamant about the ones I dislike. I can't stand rap, hard rock, or hip hop. Don't even ask for an opinion. I am very closed minded on those 3.
I hail from the south, and I am very proud of my southern heritage. I love gospel music, especially southern gospel. It is very hard for me to be serious. I try to take everything with a grain of salt. I wholeheartedly believe that humor heals. I believe in the power of prayer and will gladly lift up a prayer for anybody and/or any situation.
I cherish the friends I have made through this site, and will hold them forever close to my heart. I love to talk, and sometimes I find it hard to shut down. I know that God has blessed me with the gift of gab.
I fully believe that forgiveness is the key to a fruitful life. The hardest person I have found to forgive is myself. To be truly happy with our lives, we have to learn to be happy with ourselves.
