2 of my favorite spiritual books are Women Who Run With the Wolves by Clarissa Pinkola Estes and The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron. I also own a large collection of Poetry and Classic Literature and that is what I love the most besides spiritual books and biographies.

About Me
I am a single mother, poet and artist born and raised in the Pacific Northwest (Seattle area). I moved from Seattle to North Carolina in 2004 and have two older sisters here.
I love nature, the arts, visiting the city (art galleries, etc) all kinds of music, everything creative and free-spirited. I am kind and compassionate, intelligent and well-rounded and lead a pretty quiet life. I enjoy many different kinds of people from every walk of life but am drawn especially to other creative types.
If you would like to hear one of my poems you can listen to The Regulars here which is recited by a close friend of mine and fellow poet. I have had quite a few poems appear in small press publications and have a chapbook coming out in the next couple months which I am very excited about.
I am interested in meeting passionate and spiritual people here from any faith as I am quite open-minded and accepting of most though I am solid in my own character and do not sway any way the wind blows. I pray to Jesus but also incorporate other spiritual practices into my life and love to learn about various spiritual ways. My spirituality is kind of a combination of both Eastern and Western philosophies. I am always seeking and do not believe that any one form of spirituality is the right way. Different things are right for different people and we should embrace each other's beliefs and differences with love and respect to work toward one goal of unity and friendship.
