Don't get much of a chance to sit and read a book, but when I do I like to read about the paranormal or the occasional suspense books. I have been known to pick up one of my kids books and finish it before they do! For some reason they find this annoying!? Movies I like would be the romantic comedy, or scary movies---not gory ones, but scary ones. There is a BIG difference. With an 8 y/o in the house "G" movies are quite prevalent!lol
Who Inspires Me:
My father, who is now gone. He passed November 26, 2003 and I miss him greatly. He taught me how to listen to others with an open heart and an open mind. It's not my place to pass judgment. Acceptance goes a long way.
My favorite spiritual activities:
Prayer, meditation, being out in nature with friends and family.

About Me
Not a whole lot to say about me. I'm a mother of four. A wife of a professional musician, aka a musician's widow. My kids are 19, two 16 y/o girls and an 8 y/o girl. We now have three cats, two of which I've bottled fed as kittens as their mother's abandoned them. Two dogs, a Pekingese named Pepper and a Jack Russel named Jasmine. I don't get to get online often as teenagers always have a "need" to be on the computer----they may die if they aren't online. For the most part lately I've been just a "lurker" as I'm not to sure I'd want to listen to my sob stories I'm sure you all won't want to hear it either. But I will participate when something strikes my core. The friends I've met here have been wonderful and I love them dearly. Hope they don't think I've forgotten about them--because I most certainly haven't.
