I present on various topics to education and nonprofit organizations. My presentations are on diversity, disabilities in various areas from sports to music, Women and the Quran, Sufism and women in Islam and Sufism.
My favorite spiritual activities:
To do for others and have interfaith discussions leading interfaith peace and understanding.

My brother and his family as he will be leaving for Iraq at any time.

About Me
The picture is a combo of different events: Monica canoeing on the lake,
handbiking with her husband Bob at Military Ridge Trail
with the SCI group, and enjoying Olbrich Gardens in Madison, WI.
I absolutely loved the openness of the authors in the book,
The Faith Club. Priscilla, Thank you for inviting to the community.
I have worked with the Madison Community and Prof. Jim Goulding to
bring the authors to Madison. The presentation was great
-- even my teenage son enjoyed it.
I have started Madison's online Interfaith Community.I live close to the Arboreteum in Madison, WI.
I am looking for a Jew and a Christian that will
ask questions and similarly challenge themselves
and me in our religious beliefs.
My husband works at the UW. I work part-time at the UW.

Update! Ms. Wheelchair competition...Thank you for your support! Just as an update… We got back from Ms. Wheelchair USA competition this week. We drove to Cuyahoga Falls , OH . This was our first trip since my accident that has been more than one night away. We overcame a major barrier for us. The following video received the Press Award: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sunmMLQzWjA (I have a DVD if you are interested) The following photo www.mswheelchairwi.org received Ms. Photogenic. I was awarded 3rd runner up. Ms. Virginia won with her breast cancer platform. I am happy to share pictures. Just ask! Also, applications for Ms. Wheelchair Wisconsin 2009 will be available Jan 1, 2009. Let me know if you are interested or know of someone that may be interested.
