I am a single Mother of 6 children, grandmother to 10 and great-grandmother to 2. I turned 52 in December, still unsettled, not at peace. Oh, I love my family, but I always felt like I was supposed to accomplish something I haven't yet....I joined this community because I realize I need interaction with other people, something I have alienated myself from in these past few years. I suffered a severe emotional breakdown but did not seek proffessional help except once, and that didn't make me want to go back again. So, I just went through the stages, and left it up to God to see me through what I was having to go through. He knew the reasons, not I, and I had to give it to Him to hold me up and get me going again, which he has! Oh, I admit there have been times that I felt like He had abandoned me too, like I had experienced so many times in this world! But isn't those times when there are one set of footprints?

I was horribly humiliated by my youngest 2 childrens Dad, who never deserved the title of Dad. I raised our children alone their whole life, and    never recieved any support financially or emotionally as a parent from this person....He fought me in child suppoprt court and made us take blood tests to prove, and then never even tried to pay the little $200.00 a month for 2 kids! After being in arrears $4,000.00 worth, he popped back into my life when I had just began going to church again and was trying to turn my life around. He claimed to be an evangalist and wanted to restore our family, etc. and turned out after 2 more years all it was was getting the back owed child support dropped, and he ran off with a lady from our church and married her in Texarkana and I flipped a wig, so to speak......

Now i live with my sons in Calhoun, and we desperately need a vehicle, so pray for us about that need. You can see by my photos what happened to my truck on that rainy morning of April Fools Day.
