About Me

Why I am supporting Hillary Clinton for President of the United States:

Universal health care. For everyone.
Energy Independence.
Improved education and improved access to education at all levels.
Getting us out of Iraq.
She has been an advocate for change and social justice since the age of 13 and I believe she will continue to be such.
She has been and continues to be a consistent advocate for children (largely volunteer in her past).
She has been and continues to be a consistent champion of women’s equality and rights.
She has been a consistent advocate for the poor. She is an advocate for the working class, as evidenced in part by her plan to repeal Bush’s tax breaks for the rich.
Leaders the world over know her. Many have worked directly with her. I believe she can help restore our severely declined “status” around the world.
I believe that she has the willingness, ability, experience, and desire to start making America a better country for everyone – not only the rich/upper class. In addition, she has relationships with people from all parties and spectrums. This is absolutely necessary to make things happen in our United States government.
I believe all of the above (plus a few other plans) will naturally result in a stronger economy and a stronger country.

I agree with her on most of her platforms, and I am impressed with her overall performance and voting record. Yes, I would have voted differently on a few issues (Iraq war), but there isn’t a candidate that I agree with more. And I’ve never met a candidate I agreed with in total. (If that were the case, I may as well run!) Hillary Clinton doesn’t just talk. She takes action. The woman hasn’t sat still in her entire life, and that is something I aspire to in my own life.
