About Me
Greetings Beliefnet Community, my name is Willie. I am a 33 year old happily married father of 2 angels from North Florida. I currently serve as pastor of St. Matthew Primitive Baptist Church in Tallahassee, Fl, and I am also a City Commissioner in Gretna, Fl. My beautiful wife, Jewlanda, and I have been together for 12 years and married for 11 years. Our 2 lovely daughters are Trinity (5), and Joy (11). I love my "3 ladies" with all my heart and soul, and they, along with God, are a huge reason behind why I am where I am today. I joined this community to fellowship with other pastors & believers in Christ, and also to encourage those who may not believe. I love meeting new people. I am one who does not mind stepping out of the pulpit and denominational boundaries to tell others about Christ. I have been blessed and I want to be a blessing to you. I am willing to share with anyone, male or female. In my spare time, I enjoy singing, writing, traveling, cooking, sports, chess, politics, reading the Bible, being with family, community service, and mentoring at risk youth. I have a mentoring program called "Gadsden R.O.L.E. Model Mentoring Program. The word ROLE is an acromyn meaning, "Reaching Other Lives Everyday". I am a living example that God can do anything but fail. Hold on my brothers and sisters. Help is on the way. My favorite scripture is Philippians 4:13-"I can do all thing through Christ that strengthens me."
