My name is David. I am a 40 yr.old Army veteran currently residing in Illinois. I have been a HAZMAT driver since 2003. I am father of 7 plus one wonderful granddaughter.  In 2002, after the untimely death of my daughter Shaylee, I decided to isolate myself and turn a part-time hobby of weight training and practicing Jiu Jitsu into a 3 hour a day training regimen for over 2 years before re-emerging back into the world. I took all the feelings of anger, hatred, rage and veangance and harnessed those demons to use in my training...all to go out and later face every fear or demon that has ever haunted me. What I didn't realize at the time was that although I had surpassed all of the physical goals I had set for myself, I was slowly destroying myself inside. After referring myself back to the bible for answers, I found that I had to be able to forgive the sins of all my enemies in order to receive forgiveness for my own sins.  On bended knees, I have to pray daily for the strength and courage to maintain a forgiving and non-judgemental heart. I now have the inner-strength to match the physical strength I spent so long to achieve for all the wrong reasons. Thank you Lord for giving me the strength to face each day in a world undeserving of your grace...God bless you all and keep you in his grace.
