About Me
Mansfield Zen Center is a place where Zen Buddhism is honored and is a lay ordained Zen Buddhist lead, urban apartment Zendo, and is in the Soto Zen spirit of SHUNRYU SUZUKI - ROSHI. Author of Zen Mind, Beginners Mind and founder of San Francisco Zen Center. Four of my former teachers were in the Suzuki Roshi lineage although I'm not a formal teacher. My intention is to provide support for practicing Zen Buddhists as well as beginners and people who have no sangha who are interested and willing to form a commitment to practice Zen Buddhism here in Mansfield, Ohio and on the world wide web on Beliefnet.com and on MySpace.com. And to have a continuing open dialog about Buddhism. I hope you will join me as we practice in the Mahayana way for the good of all sentient beings. I also want to educate the public and expand knowledge of Zen Buddhism in the Mansfield, Ohio area by inviting guest teachers and speakers when available. Please contact me if you are a teacher and would like to speak at MZC or would like to become our resident teacher. I would also love to here any feedback and comments people have about this web page.
