About Me
I am a 52 year old Australian ex-teacher. While my education is in mathematics and physics, my interests these days tend towards music, the arts, and spirituality. After 25 years as an active dedicated christian I find myself unable to support its claims to exclusivity and more attracted to a pragmatic spirituality in daily life.
It would be my hope to find interesting and respectful conversation here.

Hi, thanks for welcoming me as a friend here. You seem to have the benefit of a uniquely balanced mind, as your "about me" section describes your background in math and physics, and your current interests being music, the arts, and spirituality. I'm reading a great book right now entitled "Art and Physics" written by another balanced mind, a surgeon, who considers his own work part art part physics. Anyways, the book traces the parallel history of art and physics, with an emphasis on the fact that the arts are where patterns first emerge, like a sort of intuitive reading of what's to come in the sciences.
